The Philadelphia Community Orchestra is collectively led and open to all. We welcome musicians and sound makers of all kinds. There are no auditions to join. 

We share in exploring a wide range of approaches including notation, text scores, graphic scores, improvisation, composition, and performance art. We prioritize open instrumentation to accommodate a wide range of instruments and experience levels. 

Regular rehearsals are held approximately every other Saturday from 4pm-6:30pm in the fall and spring at SLATE Church, 330 S 13th St, Philadelphia, PA 19107.  See Rehearsal Schedule for details; fill out the form under Join if you are interested in becoming a member.
